Question
Twenty eight years ago I crochet a baby afghan for my
daughter (stolen a year later) that had cross stitched animals in panels but misplaced pattern
directions. I would love to make another for granddaughter.

Answer
Hi :)

So I am not exactly sure what kind of afghan pattern you are looking for. I did find one at this link http://www.craftyarncouncil.com/animals.html. I don't know if you use just a regular crochet hook or not. But I also found a pattern that looked interesting (but there are not any pictures) at this link. http://www.pjwalsh.net/aminalafghan.html. This patterns requires that you have an afghan crochet hook.

Hope that helps,

Natalie
