About Marla
Expertise
I have crocheted many doilies, I enjoy working with crochet thread. I have crocheted numerous afghans. But I have little to no experience in hairpin lace, or the afghan stitch. If you have a question pertaining to a pattern in a magazine, book or leaflet, please include the name and # of it, and the page or pattern #. There is a slight possibility I may have that pattern, and can refer to it. Although I have crocheted sweaters and slippers,I don't feel I have done enough of them to really give good advice as to assembling the pieces, but can give advice on the type of stitches.

Experience
I have been a crocheter for almost 30 years.

Question
I am trying to locate a pattern from an od Bernat book. The book # is 522 and named Cherubs.  I also have the pattern # which is 2712-522 Perhaps you can help me or refer me to someone that might be of help.

Thanks
Lorraine

Answer
Hi Lorraine!
Thanks for asking. Looking over my list of books, I don't see that one. But I did a google search with : 522+  cherubs, and found it for sale on the website: http://crochet4you1.tripod.com/ using e-bay.But it costs $12.00. Is this what you wanted? I am not very good at crocheting clothing, and don't usually buy craft leaflets with only clothing in them, but I still have a lot of them. I can't resist buying many crochet books and leaflets that I find at thrift stores and garage sales(if they are cheap enough). That is usually the first thing I look for.  Sometimes if you check out the websites for old crochet patterns you can find patterns from books. I don't know how long copyright laws are in effect. If they do expire, that is probably why you can find them on the internet. I hope this helps.  Good luck in finding the pattern. I wish I could help more.

Marla
