Question
I just purchased a Bucilla kit that is done on 28 count ivory weave evenweave (100% cotton) fabric.  The stitch size on the kit says 14" x 14"  I have never stitched on anything other than 14 count aida cloth.  Can you tell me how to proceed with stitching this kit (the squares are extremely tiny, or can I convert this to 14 count aida cloth?  If I am reading the kit correctly, the finished size would be 35.6cm x 35.6cm.

Answer
HI Rosalie,
I found this site, which is for  beginners, but has some info on working on evenweave cloth.

I would check your pattern carefully to see threads to stitch over.

If it states 2 then your pattern will come out to the 14 x 14 size.

If over one thread, most likely your pattern will be 28 x 28.
