Cross Stitch/14 count fabric

Question
I found out that there is 14 count Linen for cross stitch.  Will this linen fabric have the same type of holes that the Aida cloth has?  Thanks  Cheryl

I've never heard of or seen 14 count linen before, so I honestly wouldn't know if it'll be the same exact size as 14 count Aida.  The only thing that I can recommend is try it and see what you think of it.

I have 22+ years of cross stitching experience, which includes stitching on Aida, evenweave linen, vinyl canvas, and have stitched a design on a cotton t-shirt using waste canvas.
