Do you know how to determine the number of DMC Floss I should get if I have a pattern with 3000+ stitches per color?

If you use 2 strands for stitching a pattern on either 14 or 18 count Aida cloth, normally you'd get 1 skein for each color on your pattern. There are some patterns that require more than 1 skein of floss. Only you can determine how much floss would be required to complete the project.
