Cross Stitch/wrinkles in aida cloth

Question
When I washed a finished project I wrung it out. I did not twist it, just squeezed it in my hands. Then I rolled it in a towel an laid it flat to dry. Now I have fine line creases that won't come out. I pressed and pressed both sides through a piece of muslin with a fairly hot iron but I can still see them faintly. Any ideas?

Answer
Laurie-

I am sorry it took me so long to get back to you. I have been out of town and did not have internet access when I was told that I would have it!
My only suggestion is to lightly spritz the piece with water before you iron it between the muslin.this should take the wrinkles out!

Happy Stitching!
