Question
how many pieces of floss do I use in cotton material? verses the cross stitch material?  I am cross stitching a bib for the granddaughter and I lost the instructions to it.  I want to finish the project and so not know how to do it smoothly.  Can you help?
Janet

Answer
Hi Janet,

I would try three strands. Try stitching and area with a block of the same color. This should let you see how the stitches are going to lay and cover. I would not use more than 4 strands.

Good luck with the stitching! And enjoy the grandbaby!

Happy Stitching!
