Cross Stitch/Aida Cloth Count

Question
Is Aida cloth, which has 8 squares per inch, better than that which has say 16 square per inch? If so, does the design appear bigger on the 8 squares per inch cloth? I am a bit confused :)

Answer
Hi there!

Aida cloth comes in many different sizes. A design stitched on 8 count will be twice the size of something stitched on 16 count. What size you use is based on your preference. The most typically used size is 14 count.

I hope I was helpful!

Happy Stitching!
