Question
What is the softest fabric to use for a baby afghan? I see all the prepackaged blankets in the craft stores, but I am not sure which will be the softest.

The prepackaged blankets are usually very soft. The most important thing to remember that you want a fabric without a lot of sizing (starch) in it. Also washing the afghan before you stitch and again after will help also!
