Question
I have a pattern that is to be done on 14 count fabric, but the squared afghan I have purchased is 18 count. How do I convert the design?

Answer
Angela,

You really don't have to convert anything. THe design will just be smaller because it is on 18 count (or 18 stitches to the inch) instead of 14 count (14 stitches per inch.

Just center your design and it should be fine. If the design is worked in separate squares, then you may have a problem. There is no way to convert the pattern without distorting the design.

Sorry I can't be of more help!

Good luck!
Kris
