Cross Stitch/Caron Watercolour floss

Question
Hello, I have a pattern that utilizes Watercolour #017 Blue Lavendar from the Caron Collection, but would rather use something red. The pattern also uses DMC perle cotton #5 793 and 794. Can you help me select floss in shades of red instead of the blue? Thank you

Answer
Lori,

I can help with the Caron, but the perle cotton will depend on the dyes in the Watercolor. I would suggest 045 - Flame or 221 - Bittersweet. Each batch of the watercolours is hand dyed and varies. You would have to look at the watercolor and compare it to the Perle cottons to pick those. Sorry I couldn't be of more help!

Happy Stitching!
