Cross Stitch/using graph paper for a wedding sampler

Question
Please help.  I just finished a wedding sampler which so far is beautiful.  I now have to stitch the names and date.  I have no idea how to do this and to center it all.  Can you please help me.  Thank you

Answer
Ronnie,

You can use graph paper to layout the design. Most charts come with a backstitch alphabet. I use that to layout my design. I draw the backstitch names on a piece of graph paper. Then I count the number of squares that the writing covers and I mark the middle and I when I start stitching, I start at the middle point and work to one end and then go back to the middle and work to the other end. I do the same thing with the date.

I hope this makes sense. Wish I could be of more help!

Happy Stitching!
Kris
