Question
I have completed a Bucilla quilt that had its embroidery pattern and quilt markings stamped on the 100% cotton project. I have gently laundered the quilt in cold and luke warm water repeatedly, but the markings haven't come out. Do you have any suggestions? Thank you very much for your help!

I've did a search on the internet for your question, and I can't find anything that suggests how to remove the ink from a stamped cross stitch project. My sincerest apologies as I don't know what to suggest to help you with this.

| Comment | Thanks for your help. I did have some success with OxyClean stain removing spray, followed by OxyClean and regular detergent using (gasp!) hot water, but there still are faint marks on the project. I'm hoping with time they'll fade away. | ||
