Cross Stitch/Fabric too short

Question
I started working on a cross stitching piece and it's about 3 pages in length. I am almost done with the first page and I realized that the length isn't long enough for the entire project.

Is there a way to sew on another fabric to the back of it, without it looking gawdy, and obvious?

Appreciate the help!

Answer
Nikki,

I am not sure that you can add fabric without it being very obvious. How short are you going to be? If the piece is solid stitched - the picture is all stitches with no space showing, then you might be able to add to it. But if it is not, solid it will not look good.

Sorry,
Kris
