im looking to make a stocking for my new great neice, would like to fine one in a florida motif, maybe santa with palm trees is this a possibality?

I did a search for stockings with a Florida motif and could not find anything. I wish I could be of more help. My only suggestion is to contact one of the online stores and see if they know of designers that will custom design something for you. You could try Stitches n Things in Michigan www.stitchesnthings.com or the Needler in South Carolina www.theneedler.com. There are several others. They may be able to help you!
