Question
I have never done a lick a cross stitch before but really want to.  I just bought a kit and was thinking that the thread was awfully thick, am I suppose to pull the strings apart and then use it or keep it together and use the whole thing?  I don't know if this makes sense, please let me know.  Thanks!

Answer
Lori -

If you read the directions it should tell you the number of strands you should be using - usually  2 strands. This means that you pull apart the thread (usually six strands) and then use the recommended number of strands. I hope this makes sense.

Happy Stitching!
