Question
i have lost my needle that came with the sewing kit and it had an embroidery needle in it do i have to use that type of needle or can i use another one.

  Thanks

Answer
Hello Zach,

In some cases you can use a different needle, if the needle is close to the same size or just a little smaller then the needle that you lost.

The thing is, most embroidery needles have a blunt tip which allows you to stitch without the fear of pricking your finger. With a different needle you may have to be more careful not to prick yourself.

Most needles are really cheap to buy and usually come in a pack of three or more. Use whatever needle you have. But if you can, do go ahead and buy a new embroidery needle.

I hope this helps.

Experience

Needlecrafts have been a part of my life for years. I sew, cross stitch, knit, crochet and bobbin lace, just to name a few. Cross stitch was one of the firsat crafts that I learned as a child and has stayed with me as a wonderful and peaceful artistic way to express myself.
