Cross Stitch/Quilt Help

Question
Hi Vinette,

I am an expert here at allexperts (freeware dept.) I am an avid x-stitcher as well, but have run into a problem.  I am about to begin work on a baby quilt for my soon-to-be grandbaby.  My question is:  are my threads just going to show on the backside??? I can't figure out any other way to go about it.  The pattern/kit I have is:

#054-0134 Sleepy Bunnies Quilt from Janlynn

Here is a link to it:

Any help you can give would be GREATLY appreciated!

Thank you very much,

Answer
HI Becky
Yes the threads will show on the back of the quilt. You can always add a flannel backing to cover them after you finish the stitching.

cut the flannel to be the same size as the backing and get some bias tape, the fancy type, and use that to sew both the quilt and back together.

Hope this is clear and helps
