Question
I'm working on #1136-00 Welcome Baby counted cross stitch by Janlynn. There are squares on the cross stitch pattern that have 2 symbols on them.  Like they have the square split in 2, with 2 symbols in one square.  How am I supposed to stitch this?  I'm relatively new at this cross stitch thing!   thanks

Answer
Hi Amber
Sometime one square it divided into quarters, A different color for each one.

Some times you will need to do a half stitch in one color and the other another color.

Sometimes you will do a quarter stitch in a different color.

this is done to get better color shading.
