Cross Stitch - transfere a poem into cross stitch

Expert: Vinette de Phillipe - 6/2/2007

Question
Hi Vinette,
I have a Poem that was read at my Fathers Funeral last week and would love to Cross Stitch it for my Mother and make a shadow Box with dried flowers and a Picture of Dad.  I wonder if you know of a Program or something I could use to convert the poem into a cross stitch pattern.
Thanks so much for your help :)
Your Friend in cross stitch,
Betty Lou

Answer
Hi Betty Lou
Here are a few sites that will have cross stitch alphabets.  The second is a list of sites that you can check out for different types of lettering to use for the poem.

You will need to graph out the words on grid paper.  Then you will be able to do the x-stitch on cloth.
