About 7devonapes
Expertise I will attempt to answer any questions in regard to weird, offbeat, twisted horror/cult/drama films. I also have a fairly broad knowledge of drama and comedy, particularly British films.
Experience I am a avid horror movie fan who grew watching Evil Dead, Re-Animator, Dawn Of The Dead, Return Of The Living Dead, Demons, Xtro, Night Of The Demons...etc. I have various Charles S. Balun books and other assorted horror guides for reference if needed. As well as horror/cult films, I watch a lot of drama - particularly British films.

Question I've been looking for a movie for quite some time now, I saw it as a child and it was kinda old then so, 70s possibly early 80s. It was definately a campy horror film. All I really recall about it is a large group of people in an old haunted hotel, through out the movie the ghosts come out and end up falling in love with the humans they're supposed to haunt (I believe one even end up having 'relations' with them) any info would be appreciated!
Answer Hi Stephanie,
Sorry for the delay with getting back to you, but have been a busy of late with work, etc.
Hmm... not quite sure what this movie is, though will take a stab and say it's either A) an old Gene Wilder flick from 1986 called "Haunted Honeymoon", or B) 1985's "Transylvania 6-5000", starring Jeff Goldblum and Ed Begley Jr.
A) A plot summary for "Haunted Honeymoon" from imdb.com follows:
"Larry Abbot, speaker in the radio horror shows of Manhattan Mystery Theater wants to marry. For the marriage he takes his fiancée home to the castle where he grew up among his eccentric relatives. His uncle decides that he needs to be cured from a neurotic speech defect and exaggerated bursts of fear: he gives him a shock therapy with palace ghosts."

- The whole film is also available to watch via Youtube.
B) A plot summary for "Haunted Honeymoon" from imdb.com follows:
"Two reporters travel to a strange castle in Transylvania to investigate the apparent reappearance of Frankenstein, and encounter such kooky creatures as the sensitive Wolfman, the horny Vampiress Odette, as well as a whole cast of other weirdos."

Here is the film's trailer:

DVD copies of both films are readily available from Amazon.com or ebay, among other online DVD retailers.
Best of luck!
