Hello, I am 43 years old today. When I was young, I remember a very interesting movie on cable. It was about a newly wed couple if I remember correctly. They move to a small town where the people seem very odd. It turns out many of the people are members of a witch cult. As the leading male actor uncovers the truth about the town and it's residences, they cut out his tongue and eyes. The man's wife joins the cult group. I believe if you are not asked to join or do not accept the cult, removal of tongue and eyes is common practice to keep the peace and the cults long survival is insured. What movie is this ????

I think you are looking for a movie called "The Dark Secret of Harvest Home".. it was a 2-part TV movie that, after it's success, was re-edited into a long feature movie.... check it out and see if this is the one you are looking for...
