There is a movie called Prophecy (or The Prophecy) that I saw in the early 80's I have never been able to find because every time I 'search' it I get the Christopher Walken movie.  The one I'm looking for is about a rich old guy who is very ill and dying and is ready to read his will to his heirs.  In this movie, there is a white cat and a nurse in a white uniform, which I believe, are one and the same.  But the heirs are being picked off one by one, and the cat/nurse is always nearby when the 'accidents' occur.  Can you please, PLEASE tell me you know this movie and where I can find it?!!

Hmmm... I think what you looking for is a US/UK 1978 film called "The Legacy", starring Katherine Ross, Sam Elliott, and Roger Daltrey, among others. The late Richard Marquand (Return of the Jedi) directs.
