Question
I am currently a film student in screewriting and have this dream of being a king of exploitation films or B rate films.How is that decided? the number of films?the explicitness of the content?the subject matter?In your expert opinion, how do one became a king of exploitation B rate films?

The best way for me to answer this is to say this.. Read Roger Corman's book. Corman is the undisputed king of the B-rated movie, a title he proudly wears. You make movies cheap, you churn them out like cheap sneakers at KMart, and damn whomever critic says you are a hack. As long as your movies make one dollar more than they cost to produce, you are golden.

I am a devout fan of horror films, from the Universal classics to the schlock of the 50`s, on through the 70`s to the splatter era, and straight up to "28 Days Later." Tom Savini films are an extra treat. Ask me about "Knightriders" if you don`t believe me. Anyone else own a copy of that classic?
