-----Question-----
I was 5 or 6 and had to sneak to watch it from behind my Dad's recliner. I remember being scared to death by this movie that ended with a pregnant woman being driven late at night to this place where she gives birth to a green baby. I think there were heartbeat sound effects, and the obligatory sobbing and screaming. That's all I remember.

Hi, Jeff...

Any chance you are remembering the TV miniseries "V," the landmark series about aliens taking over Earth? In it, there was an alien/human baby born that was green-tinted and had a reptillian tongue...

I was in High School when V came out. I've been picking my parents brain about the show as well but they don't remember it. I just watched Rosemary's baby just in case. That wasn't it either. I keep thinking there was a Carnival in the movie too. Any other ideas?

Answer
Jeff...

I am completely stumped here... I keep thinking you are talking about "It's Alive!" or one of those sequels, but I don't remember the baby being green... I remember, though, that the commercials for that thing freaked me OUT when I was a kid.... do you remember anything else about the baby? Deformed in any way besides being green?

There was an old movie called "The Boy With Green Hair," starring a young Dean Stockwell, but that was hardly scary...

Lemme know..

I am a devout fan of horror films, from the Universal classics to the schlock of the 50`s, on through the 70`s to the splatter era, and straight up to "28 Days Later." Tom Savini films are an extra treat. Ask me about "Knightriders" if you don`t believe me. Anyone else own a copy of that classic?
