Question
I am trying to remember the name of an old horror movie I think is from the 70's. It was about a hero like preist who was fighting against this group of devil worshippers. The one scene that I remember is at the end. The hero guy has been tricked by this girl he thought was good but she was really part of the cult. She drugs him , which causes him to be in a coma like state, he can see but cant move. They are burying him alive and the camera shows his view from the bottom of his grave and he can see these scantly clad girls dancing and jumping over his grave.

The hero guy has dark curly hair(almost afro like) and a beard. There was alot of implied sex, hot girls,etc---typical for a 70's horror movie. I also remember there being made a reference by the main bad guy devil worshipper that the "hero's" sign was scoripo and that sign controlled the sex organs. I thought that was cool because I am a scorpio. Any ideas?

Answer
Hi, Dano...

I'm a bit hung up here with your movie... can you tell me anything else about it? Was it an American movie, or did it look dubbed from another language? I'm finding quite a few "devil worship" films in the 70's, but, apparently, Italy was very hot for these things...

Can you tell me more about the actors? Any guess who the girl was, or what she looked like? Was the main hero an actual priest? Anything else you can tell me will help narrow this down...

Send me a follow-up and let me know...

Thanks,

PCG

I am a devout fan of horror films, from the Universal classics to the schlock of the 50`s, on through the 70`s to the splatter era, and straight up to "28 Days Later." Tom Savini films are an extra treat. Ask me about "Knightriders" if you don`t believe me. Anyone else own a copy of that classic?
