Question
I can't figure out the titles of two movies I saw when I was younger.  The first I believe was 3 horror stories, one of which being about a boy who is obsessed with a video game, and sneaks into the mall to play it, and becomes part of the game.  I believe another part of the movie dealt with a truck that had no driver?

The other movie dealt with a boy who was stuck in a red postage stamp, as far as I can remember.  Any help?

Answer
Hi Ryan,

The film you are looking for is called "Nightmares" which was made in 1983, and starred Emilio Estevez as the video game obsessed teen. A plot summary imdb.com follows:

"A collection of short stories. In one a woman who leaves her house late at night to drive to the store while a killer is loose encounters some problems. In the second an arcade whiz kid's (Estevez) obsession with a game leads to deadly consequences. In the third a small town priest loses his faith and decides to leave town, but in the desert is stalked by a mysterious black pick-up truck. In the final story, a family's problem with a rat is larger than they think."

Here is the film's trailer:

The DVD is available from Amazon.com, Video Universe, and eBay.

Best of luck,

I will attempt to answer any questions in regard to weird, offbeat, twisted horror/cult/drama films. I also have a fairly broad knowledge of drama and comedy, particularly British films.

Experience

I am a avid horror movie fan who grew watching Evil Dead, Re-Animator, Dawn Of The Dead, Return Of The Living Dead, Demons, Xtro, Night Of The Demons...etc. I have various Charles S. Balun books and other assorted horror guides for reference if needed. As well as horror/cult films, I watch a lot of drama - particularly British films.
