I remember when I was about 10 (53 now), I saw a movie where a pair of hands comes out from the wall and grabs people.  This movie had to be in the very late 50s/early sixties.  We used to have a late Saturday night show (in Michigan) where the host was "Christopher Coffin" and this is the only movie I remember from that time because it was scary with those hands coming out from the walls!

I hav not found anything on this film yet... found lots of "hands coming out of walls" stuff, but nothing, though, that fits the dates you are looking for... gonna keep looking... meanwhile, I have to thank you... I've learned a lot about Christopher Coffin... didn't know about him until you asked... he is about to be a part of a documentary on horror TV hosts... it includes him, Zacherley, Bill Cardille, Elvira, Commander USA (remember him?), and some others... it's called "American Scary." Look for it, hopefully, around the end of the year...

I'll keep looking for your film, too...
