Question
I saw a movie several years ago about a teacher who moves into a boarding school with his wife, and they both get terrorized by the students. Anyway, it was very weird, sort of in the vein of Anderson's "if...". For some reason I want to say the title is "Unhuman, Unkind, Zimmerman", but apparently it isn't, as I haven't found anything under that; I think the title may have three parts like that, though. I know I haven't given much to go on, so any speculation would be appreciated. Thanks.

Answer
Hi Terry,

Bit of a slow reply, sorry about that.

The film you are looking for is called "Unman, Wittering and Zigo" which was released in 1971. So, you were pretty close with your title guess. I personally have never seen it or even heard of it before, which is strange because I am a David Hemmings fan... Anyway, the film's plot involves a new school teacher who learns that the previous teacher was killed by his pupils, and he fears the same will happen to him. Here is an imdb.com link:

Here are a couple youtube.com clips from the movie:

VHS or DVD copies may be hard to find. Try this link though:

I am a avid horror movie fan who grew watching Evil Dead, Re-Animator, Dawn Of The Dead, Return Of The Living Dead, Demons, Xtro, Night Of The Demons...etc. I have various Charles S. Balun books and other assorted horror guides for reference if needed. As well as horror/cult films, I watch a lot of drama - particularly British films.
