Question
QUESTION: Hey! I was reminscing with a friend about all those awful horror films like what you'd see on USA Up All Night (eg. Deadly Friend) and stuff.  We're stumped though on two films:  1) A woman receives an envelope with a pair of glasses.  She puts them on and looks at the apple on her table and the apple suddenly has a weird mouth and whines, "Don't eat me!"  2)I believe the title has a phone number in it and a young man calls this number and the people who have wronged him get a "taste of their own medicine."  The guy looked like a cross between Lance Guest and Rob Morrow.  I remember scenes in I think his bedroom with a neon light reflecting off the walls.

ANSWER: sorry I don't know the names of the movies but I had to tell you that you made me laugh hard!. the apple with a mouth part.  anyway sorry I can't help you out but if you find out please let me know they sound great.

QUESTION: Well, the phone number movie I did figure out after going to (go figure) retrojunk.  It's 976-Evil.  I didn't even realize the director was Robert Englund!

Answer
I was answering another question and came across your reply.  something weird happened to me last night. I was in a parking lot waiting for my wife, anyway I saw a store with alot of movie posters in the window. one of them was 976-evil. and I thought I should know why this is important and it was killing me all last night....then today I see your reply. weird, I think I will rent it.
