hello sir/madam,

thank you very much , you are very correct for the robosoldiers aka class of 1999  but i search in the net about the dr. evil and dr. evil ii Philippines title that there is a comedy when in fact this is totally suspense, gore and horrible, no comedy at all. i'll try to buy one and watch if this is the one i'm looking. as you said "It does have a couple of sequels. I only saw the first one and it was not very good. Not as good as the original." what do you mean not as good as the original? is there an original film for this? thank you and i hope you can still help me. more power.

I WATCHED THIS FILM AND STILL REMEMBER THIS TITLE DR. EVIL AND THERE IS A PART II ( DR. EVIL II ) I AM SURE FOR THIS TITLE AS I REMEMBER WAYBACK 1985 TO 1987. Dear Gerry, I have a couple of ideas on the films you're looking for, but I am not sure... The story of the Doctor injecting the dead so they become alive again sounds a lot like Stuart Gordon's "The Re-Animator", a cult classic from 1985. You can find its Imdb entry here:

About the so-called robosoldiers, it does sound a bit like "Class of 1999" made in 1990 by Mark Lester. This film also has a sequel: check out on Imdb to see if it matches your memories:

"Re-Animator" is not strictly a comedy. It does have laughs, but it is mostly a gore/horror/suspense film. I insist that you should check it out.

However, one of the most famous scenes has the leading lady strapped to a table, naked, and being licked by a living zombie severed head. If you have seen the film, this should definitely ring you a bell.

Well, there is the original "Re-Animator" from 1985, which is good (at least, *I* enjoyed it). Then there is a first sequel called "Bride of the Re-Animator" (1990) which I didn't think much of.

I see there also is a "Beyond the Re-Animator" (2003) which I haven't seen:

I see this would star lovely Barbara Crampton (the girl from the first film) as the US' First Lady, and would mark the return of Stuart Gordon to the direction. Sounds like a great premise! :-)
