Question
My question involves a movie from sometime around the mid 70's to the mid 80's, it's about Mary Shelly (the author of Frankenstein) and some of her friends during a ghost story, this is where she thinks of the idea of Frankenstein it is also, according to legend, where a poem about Dracula gets written and that's where Bram Stoker gets his idea about writing a book about the legend of Dracula. I can't remember the title but I know that once I see it I'll remember it. If you could please help me, thanks.

Answer
Hi, Jason...

I'm pretty sure the movie you're looking for is called "Gothic." It was directed by Ken Russell, and told the story of that fateful weekend with the Shelleys and Lord Byron... check it out on www.imdb.com and see if this is what you were looking for...

Hope this helps,

I am a devout fan of horror films, from the Universal classics to the schlock of the 50`s, on through the 70`s to the splatter era, and straight up to "28 Days Later." Tom Savini films are an extra treat. Ask me about "Knightriders" if you don`t believe me. Anyone else own a copy of that classic?
