Cult Movies/Horror plot parody I think...please ID

QuestionThanks so far,
The Dead Zone isn't hitting home. I haven't seen it but imdb shows a wider plot than a murderous son. Can you explain in more detail? In the SP episode, the lines where she's praising her boy to herself are very specific. They feel quoted. She buries the bodies but then pretends it never happened. Some other notes if they help: eventually a cop stops by and she chains him in the basement, they use a literal character named Aunt Flo who comes to visit and that's when the mom starts acting weird, and the fish threatens Stan by writing messages on his bowl then steaming it up (comical because he's in water but I thought maybe the original could have a bad spirit writing on the bathroom mirror? Just brainstorming.
I'm interested in cult films, whether serious or fun (Barbarella=favorite). We get together for crappy movie night (Masters of the Universe, Cabin Fever, etc.)
I watched crappy sci-fi/sword/camp movies with friends in college. Favs=Highlander series, Conan, Death Race 2000, Femalien. I prefer these to moody stuff like Blade Runner.
I'm also interested in both classic and campy horror. I'm way behind on classics (Original TCM, the Hills Have Eyes,Last House..are on the list). I love the campy ones too though. I'm a sucker for anything sensual or gratuitous nudity.
So: Cult classics, campy horror and sci-fi, Classic horror and just plain crappy but fun movies.
Thanks

Question Summary-
In an early South Park episode, Stan gets a goldfish that kills people. The mother, thinking Stan killed them, goes cuckoo and talks to herself "My boy's such a good boy, such a handsome boy" and tells Stan that she'll take care of it. She buries the bodies. I don't know how much they take from the movie (I'm guessing in the original the boy actually is killing people).
Answer -
Murderous boys and cover-up moms... "The Dead Zone," for starters... Cronenborg's film of a SK book

AnswerHi, Shane...
Is there an e-mail address I can reply to this with? They will only allow me so much room in the allexperts.com system, and my reply, with the lists and all, will take up way too much room...
Send me a valid e-mail address and I'll send you all my thoughts...
