Question
The movie is called "Can't Fall Asleep"  I saw it as a kid, so I would say early 80's.  The story is about a family with three children 1 boy 2 girls.  The family is in their station wagon and one girl and the boy tied the other girls shoestrings together.  The car catches fire and everyone gets out but her.  She then comes backs (you never see her, but you know she's there).  She kills the father by dropping a plugged in radio into his bathwater, she kills the brother by knocking him out of the 2nd story window, she tries to kill the mom but she gets away.  The only one she doesn't try to kill is the sister.  I remember this movie so well because it scared the you know what out of me.  I'm sorry, I don't remember any of the actors.  I believe it was a made for TV movie.  Any help would be greatly appreciated

Answer
Hi Morgan,

The film you are looking for is called "Don't Go To Sleep" which was made for TV in 1982. A plot summary from imdb.com follows:

"A prank played on a young girl by her sisters inadvertently results in her death during a car accident. The child comes back from the dead for revenge on her family."

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0083844/

You can check out pics from the movie here:

This movie is very hard to find for sale, though I do recommend you check out the following www.cryptflicksvideo.com link - there is a copy for $15 thought I'm not sure whether it's for a DVD for VHS:

Best of luck,
