Question
Hi,

A friend of mine from UK has found the movie title! It's from the UK TV series THRILLER and the title is "I'm the girl he wants to kill". I don't know if it has ever been shown in the US, but I doubt it. So unless you're into UK TV series, you'd no way of knowing what I was thinking about.

Thank you for your help!

Hi,

Thank you for your help!

I'm afraid I don't have further details on the casts. I guess the movie was originally made for TV, and I think I was about 15 when I watched it. Now I'm turning 37, so it's about 22 years old, or from around 1980. I've tried to ask some of my friends, but despite many of them also having seen the movie, none is able to give me some hard facts. One of my friends thought it may have been a Hammer House production, so I've checked the list of Hammer House films, but can't find a suitable match. I also think the movie is a US production, and the Hammer House films are British.

I guess the only way to find some info about the film is to find a person who has actually seen it and remembers some details.

Kind regards

Hi,

As a kid I watched a horror movie on TV. I'm trying to find out what the title of the movie was, but I only remember fragments of the story. Are you able to help me out from the following "clues"?

First of all, I remember a woman walking down the sidewalk. She stops and looks through a window into a watchmakers shop. The watchmaker (a man) looks up at her with his small magnifying glass in his eye.

Later I remember a scene where the watchmaker follows the woman into an abandoned office building (possible at night). The woman tries to escape the man. I remember some lifts in the building. I remember that the woman tries to brake a window by throwing a typewriter through the glass.

The last scene I remember is where the police arrive. The man hides in the back of the woman's car, and he tries to stab her with a knife.

I also remember something about a pair of white shoes, but I could be wrong about that.

Kind regards,

Hi, Torben,

I am having no luck finding out anything about this movie. Can you tell me anything else about it? Actors, what they look like, anything like that?

Let me know in a follow-up....

Hi, again, Torben...

Well, you're right... nothing that Hammer did matches what you're saying, at least, nothing that I can find.... the thing that gets me is that there are details in your description that sound familiar, but it's not ringing any direct bells...

You might try another expert in AllExperts...

Sorry I could not help more...

Hi again, Torben...

I'm glad you found out what the title was! I would have never, in a million years, related your details back to a UK television show... I have heard of "Thriller" but never seen an episode before. Thanks for letting me know, so I can quit wracking my brain for this title.

I'm glad you found out what you needed....

Thanks again for letting me know...

I am a devout fan of horror films, from the Universal classics to the schlock of the 50`s, on through the 70`s to the splatter era, and straight up to "28 Days Later." Tom Savini films are an extra treat. Ask me about "Knightriders" if you don`t believe me. Anyone else own a copy of that classic?
