This has been driving me COO-COO for a LONG time, hopefully some one could please get this EVIL Burden off my shoulder.
I am not sure exactly when this TV show aired.Maybe late 80's early 90's.... probably late night on a prime time station.
ALL I REMEMBER IS THE INTRO OF THE SHOW:
The begining of the show started off in space and then slowly made it way to earth....closer...closer... then made its way through suburbia.... and then on into a house..... looks like a normal family but they don't show they're faces. the family talks about getting ready to watch TV, and something about getting the popcorn..... ok, then they all sit downturn the TV on and shows ::THE NAME OF THE SHOW:: then shows the family and ITS A FAMILY OF CYCLOPS'
THE END I THINK..

what was this show called, some one PLEASE HELP ME!

What you are describing is the opening montage from a syndicated horror/sci-fi anthology series called "Monsters." It was a lot like "Tales From The Crypt," but it was infinitely tamer... dunno if it's available on DVD or anything...
