Question
Hi,

For many years, I've been trying to figure out the name of a show that I remember seeing twice in the '70's. I'm thinking that the title was something like "Terror on the Screen". It was a sort of encyclopedia of popular horror films, starting with The Cabinet of Dr. Caligar, and including Lee and Lugosi's Draculas, the impaled priest scene from The Omen, the shower and discovery of mother scenes from Psycho...not sure of other films. Since it included The Omen, I'm suspecting it had to have been televised between 1977 and 1980. It was also on network television?

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Answer
Hi Brandt,

I think the movie you are looking for is called "Terror in the Aisles" made in 1984. "Terror in the Aisles" is a compilation of trailers and scenes from crime, horror and sci-fi films, and hosted by Donald Pleasence and Nancy Allen.

You can watch the entire film at youtube.com - here is the part 1.
