I'm looking for a movie that was made sometime in the 70's, about a girl named Jennifer that could control snakes with her mind, so she could get revenge on people. It's something like the movie Carrie.

The movie you are lookin for is called "Jennifer" made in 1978. A plot summary from imdb.com follows:
"Ostracized at a snooty private school because of her rural, poor background, a scholarship student is tormented to the point where her only remaining recourse is revenge, using the only method she knows: her psychic control over snakes!"
