Expert: Popcorn Guy - 3/21/2006

I am trying to find a horror movie that was released in the early 80's.  The plot was something like a town held hostage, and the cover of the movie showed a guy with a sack like mask over his head.  (Not the texas chainsaw massacre) Some of the parts I can remember are the townspeople barricading themselves in their homes after dark.  I think the title was something like after sunset or something to that effect.  I would appreciate any help you might be able to give.  Thanks

This film is actually a made-for-tv film from 1981 called "Dark Night of the Scarecrow." It's known as one of the best tv-movies ever made, too. A classic! It starred Larry Drake as the retarded man who is wrongly killed for something he did not do, and apparantly comes back searchng for revenge. You can definitely find this on Amazon.com, because it's wildly popular with horror fans even today...
