Question
I saw this horror film a few times; it may have been from the 80s or 90s. It had a really funny scene in which one of the characters pulls out a strobe light saying her parents were stoners, and they all start partying and drinking. Basically, it ends with the main character, who is dressed like Alice in Wonderland, climbing over a barbed wire fence to escape the haunted place. Her guy friend escapes with her saying something along the lines that his father is a preacher and he's been praying all night. It was a very amusing movie, and I would appreciate any  help in remembering the title so I can get a copy.

Thank you
Diana

Answer
Hi Diana,

The movie you're looking for is called "Night of the Demons" which was made in 1988. A plot sumary from imdb.com follows:

"Ten teens decide to have a party at an abandoned funeral parlor called Hull House. Hull House is on a strip of land rumored to be unclean and unfit for human inhabitance. The house has a nasty history to it including a the Hull family being murdered. After the ten kids enter the house they decide to have a séance. After an attempt for the séance they awaken a demon that lives in the basement. It possesses one of the girls then from her everyone else becomes possessed and killed by demons that inhabit the land."

You can watch a 6 minute excerpt (along with the rest of the entire movie) at youtube.com via the following link:

DVD copies are readily available from Amazon.com, Video Universe, and ebay.com.

Best of luck,
Ryan
