Question
A while ago on Sci fi I saw a movie probably made in late 70's or 80's movie, NOT sci fi original, that was about (not to be racist but) a black kid in this bizarre house.  There were like all of these other kids running loose in the house as well. They were running through the walls and I specifically remember a scene were this kid with no tongue gets shot. I think his nickname was roach or somthing. Anyway I have no clue what the movie is called but I would sure appreciate it if you could tell me.

Answer
Hi Eric,

The movie you are looking for is called "The People Under The Stairs" which was made in 1991, and directed by Wes Craven.

"The People Under the Stairs is the story of a young boy (Fool) from the ghetto and takes place on his 13th birthday. In an attempted burglary (along with two others) of the home of his family's evil landlords, he becomes trapped inside their large suburban house and discovers the secret of the "children" that the insane brother and sister have been "rearing" under the stairs."

All the best,
