I dont' think that "To the Devil a Daughter" is it. The movie I am thinking of only shows "Satan" (if that's who it is) at the very end...not a real integral part per se. Maybe my dates are incorrect but I am sure that it was no later than the '80s. I am sure that's when I would have seen it on TV....one of those old Saturday afternoon horror flick type things. But it definately had a Rosemary's baby feel to it. I just remember this strange movie with a girl dancing at this party (or what she thinks is a party)...and then the floor begins to be revealed and she is  actually dancing on a floor inscribed with a pentgram....looks up...sees a guy sitting on a chair/throne (presumably satan or prince of satan or something) and his eyes are glowing maybe? and she realizes who he is. Maybe the whole point was the he was the guy that married her and now she's figured out that his day job is prince of darkness? haha...wish i could remember more. Let me know if you come across anything else.

That helps. I did remember the dog Nicodemus. However, like so many, I am wondering if I am also mixing this film with another. Is there one where the main female character finds out she's connected to Satan through birth or marriage or something and ends up in a room of other satanic worshipers (one might even be her mother) with Satan (or a high priest possibly) sitting on a throne and she begins to dance (possibly on a pentacle on the floor)? And I know it's NOT Rosemary's Baby but a similar sort of ending. Again, it was one of those cheesy B movie Saturday afternoon horror flicks....same time period I am guessing.

Years ago I saw a tv movie that (judging by the dress was probably made in the early 70's?
Though my recollections are somewhat vague, it centered around this husband and wife. The wife became obsessed with a painting in the house. She would notice it "coming to life" at times. She would see figures moving in it.  She lost interest in everything else and withdrew from everything. The husband went crazy worrying. Consulted a priest (said she used to be devout cathoic)for help. The painting must have been haunted. I seem to remember it having some sort of occult ending or overtones to it. Can you help?

Are you sure about the dates of this thing? And are yoiu sure it was a TV movie, as in, made specifically for TV? Asking because I'm not finding anything about this anywhere...

I did find a movie called "Daughters of Satan," about a man who buys a painting and hangs it in his home because one of the women in it looks like his wife... she becomes posessed by the spirit of one of the women in the picture, who, as it turns out were three witches burned at the stake. Does this sound familiar at all? Funny thing is, it starred a young pre-"Magnum" Tom Selleck...

The dates on this thing are what keep hanging me up... outside of The Exorcist and Rosemary's Baby, the only big thing with Satan playing an intregal part was "To the Devil A Daughter." Does this sound familiar?

Still not finding anything on this, but I am not giving up on it... I have a couple of friends I am going to call in on this one... one has this thing about "Satan movies," as he calls them, so I'm hoping he will be able to shed some light on this... I'll let you know...
