I saw a movie somewhere between 1968-1974 on television.  What I remember is that it was a witch movie and there was a woman who was afraid of this door.  The witches began covering her with what I believe was bricks until she gave them her wedding ring.  I can't get this movie out of my mind!

The movie you are looking for is a tv movie called "Crowhaven Farm" made in 1970. A plot summary from imdb.com follows:

"An aura of mystery and tales of supernatural activity surrounds Crowhaven Farm,when it comes into the possession of Ben and Maggie Porter,a couple moving to the farm to try for a chance to save their troubled marriage. Maggie,immediately senses that all is not right,and that perhaps the farm's reputation for being haunted by restless spirits and being the home of an ancient coven of witches is true."
