okay, so i saw this movie in the 90s, but it could also be from the 80s, and i might have two movies confused, but here is what i know.  There is this girl and she goes to this midget fortune teller lady who gives her this potion, and she says she was saving it for herself, but gives it to the girl, and the girl brings her a picture from a magazine that she wants to look like.  i also remember the girl putting sheer clothes over her lamps to dim the lights.  another thing that i remember might be from a different movie, but there is a girl and the teacher goes through her purse and finds a hair dryer.  she makes a voodoo doll of him and her mom accidently washes it, but the real life teacher is going through a car wash when this happens.  can you tell me what this (these) movie(s) might be because I've been wondering for years?

Pretty sure the film you are looking for was called "Teen Witch." I know it had the scene in it with the voodoo doll and the car wash, anyway... but, from what I've been able to find out, everything else matches "Teen Witch," too...
