trying to track down name of movie but only remember ending.
There is a giant crystal in this womens living rm and it gets bigger
and bigger and there is a baby growing inside. The hexagonal
crystal reaches full size and breaks open revealing a boy made of
bronze/metal, the woman crys until she realises that a piece of the
boys metal cheek breaks off and underneath is real flesh. She peels
all the metal off and there is boy in there who's already a few
months (years?) old
Thats all i remember, hope you can help

Sorry cant think of anything else other than that there were the usual scientists involved in the
process. Was either late 70's or early 80's. American movie. Dont remember the cast, I dont think
there were any big names in it but I was pretty young at the time and dont know for sure.

I need you to think for me... the "mother" in this movie... was she a redhead? Kind of long, curly red hair? I think I may have found this film through some contacts of mine, but we're trying to track it down for sure...
