Answer
Hi Noel,

The first movie you are looking for is called "Madman" which was made in 1982. The plot of the movie is as follows:

"At a summer camp for youths, cockey pre-teen calls out the name of mass serial killer "Madman Marz". Suddenly, counselors are being maimed and slaughtered in various ways by the backwoodsman who has returned when his name was called."

This film was also released as "Madman Marz".

"Gates of Hell" is also called "City of the Living Dead", which is from 1980 and directed by Italian horror legend Lucio Fulci.

The plot of the movie is as follows:

"In the small New England town of Dunwich, a priest commits suicide by hanging himself in the church cemetary which somehow opens the gates of hell allowing the dead to rise. Peter, a New York City reporter, teams up with a young psychic, named Mary, to travel to the town where they team up with another couple, psychiatrist Jerry and patient Sandra, to find a way to close the gates before All Saints Day or the dead all over the world will rise up and kill the living."

Both "Madman" and "City of the Living Dead" are available online to purchase at Amazon.com, and eBay. "City of the Living Dead" is also available from DVD UNIVERSE.

Best of luck,

Ryan
