I would greatly appreciate help with this. I remember some of this movie from the eighties. it had a plot that could be mixed from screamers and lifeforce. it is about machine/woman in a tomb like structure that this group finds on the ?moon? or similar planet.Then they bring her or it , sorry not to clear, in for testing then machines start killing everybody. After that I do not remember much. Also until very recently I confused the male lead with one Dudley Moore. I remember them looking similar. Thank you for any help you can provide.

Well, you had me all over the place on this one... you descibe, as you said, the high plot points from both "Screamers" and "Lifeforce", but combining them into one film??? Jeez...

But I think you may be looking for "Moontrap." It was made in 1989, and starred Walter Koenig, who you may remember as Chekov from Star Trek.... now, how he reminds you of Dudley Moore, I don't know...
