Subject: Profit-sharing

Question
How might a profit-sharing plan help a company get maximum production for its employees?

Thank You

Answer
Hi Sheilah,

I'll be glad to help with your question.

Proponents of profit-sharing argue that workers for companies that maintain a profit-sharing program have greater incentive to increase their productivity, since they will directly benefit by being given a portion of the resulting higher profits.

I hope that this is helpful, Sheilah.

- Max
