Good evening Dave. I seem to be getting this question a lot lately and I think the best answer I gave was to a guy who wrote to me a few weeks ago. So I am going to steal from that answer to give to you.
 There are many places you can go to and send erotic e-mail notes back & forth. However 99% of them are pay sites, such as www.alt.com. This site I trust as I am a member and I have had success in finding a woman to exchange e-mails with. I trust them more than free sites.
When it comes to free web site, there are a number of issues that I have with them. First and foremost, I have had my computer taken hostage by a virus on 2 of the free sites. Also free sites tend to disappear after just a few weeks. However, the biggest problem that I have with free adult web sites that offer free e-mail and instant messaging is that 90% of the time the 22 year old lingerie model in Los Angeles that your are writing to or messaging with, is usually a 47 year old guy living in Cleveland,  with a pizza box in front of him, hasn’t taken a shower in weeks, and is probably living in his parents basement.  I’m not saying every woman who is on one of these free sites is a 47 year old guy,  I wouldn’t trust very many people out there.
I recommend pay sites because, like I said, I have had good luck with them. I was fooled once, but no site is perfect.
Also, before I forget, I am not being paid by ALT.com to recommend them. They have no idea I am talking about them. I’m just telling you about my experience with that site.
Another place that people have had some success with is Craigslist.com. Unless you have been living on Mars for the past few years, you are probably familiar with them. I have met and dated 2 women on Craigslist and found 2 of my apartments on there.
I will give you some general areas where I have found people who have expressed an interest in this.
Surprisingly, A couple of years ago I was dong a web search for some e-mail pen pals. I got a lot of hits, keep in mind that a good number of them were places for you to meet a Ukranian or Russian women. STAY AWAY FROM THOSE !!! 98% of these are scams.
However if you put in your search "free e-mail pen pals" you will find a number of websites that are fine to deal with. I found a lot of women who expressed an interest in cybersex. I 'played' with one girl for about a year.
Another place I met a lot of females, although I must warn you, this is a pay site was.... www.alt.com. This site caters a lot to people with a kinkier lifestyle, although there were plenty of 'vanilla'... (yes that is a term for people who are into a more traditional form of sex) ....type of women.
Now one more suggestion, if you are into online gaming such as the Sims world, you might want to try this site..http://www.redlightcenter.com/
I have not tried this place personally, but a few of my online girls have and they seem to like it a lot.
