I use this code to start my Table

<table WIDTH="100%" CELLSPACE="9" BORDER=”9”>

And yes it works I get my Table to span the whole width of my Page.

And it has two sides and looks good.

But I can not change the Cellspace and I can not change the Border.

I can type any number in and they never get Thicker or anything.

Am I not doing somehing Right?

But this is outside of my expertise.

The HTML attributes such as border and cellspace—even width—are all deprecated now and handled completely by the CSS.

For controlling cell padding, you just use CSS padding. For borders, you use CSS border. Changing the space between each cell is a bit trickier. For this, you use:

table {
   border-collapse: separate;
   border-spacing: ;

Check out a short example I put together: http://jsfiddle.net/s9jgu1ep/

Ask me about JavaScript, CSS, HTML5/XHTML, or PHP. Chances are I'll be able to help you. I know the economy is in the tank, but if you like my answer, please consider donating a few bucks. It's like tipping your barista, if your barista served fresh code instead of coffee.

I started doing this when boy bands were still cool.

I read a lot of nerdy books to get here.
